The Faculty of Safety Engineering is one of the youngest faculties of the ISU and offers two courses in the bachelor studies. The studies are three years and after completion the student acquires 180 ECTS credits.
The teaching of the both study programmes will enable students to prepare themselves for successful use of scientific and professional achievements in the field of engineering security systems and management of work safety and fire safety in the working and business environment in the organizations. Specific goals of the study programmes are acquiring knowledge and skills for:
- identification of basic structures and processes in the system of the working, industrial and business environment in the organization and beyond.
- identification of danger, risks and use of various methods, analysis by undertaking activities for managing organizational systems and creation of safety conditions for working in the working environments and the risk management.
- education and training of employees in the field of safety and health protection in the working environment, preparation of analyzes, overview, examinations, planning, introduction of innovation systems and management of the systems for protection of the working environment in the organizations.
- enabling and development of the system in the field of fire protection and preparation of analyzes, assessments, supervision, expertise, design, planning and development of fire protection systems.
