The Faculty of Safety Engineering offers one Bachelor’s degree study program and one Master’s degree study program:
The Faculty is the first and only one of its kind in the Republic of North Macedonia. It provides education in the field of occupational health and safety. The goal of the faculty is to educate students for efficient and successful implementation of European legislation in the field of occupational safety and health.
What is occupational health and safety?
Occupational health and safety means preventive application of certain measures and regulations related to the safety in the workplace. On this faculty, you will learn to identify the occupational hazards in the workplace, the ways of dealing with them and the ways of eliminating them.

In a world of rapid changes and emerging hazards, people want to feel safe everywhere and the workplace is no exception.
Our students will learn how to gather information on potential risks and hazards which might emerge from improper use of appliances and work tools. They will also learn how to analyze and categorize them, and most importantly prevent them from even happening.
The extensive knowledge of technology and occupational psychology would enable our students to make decisions related to occupational safety and health, and thereby protect the work environment, and the individuals within.
