The path to development
Our past achievements make the International Slavic University “Gavrilo Romanovich Derzhavin” a second home to many students from North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Russia. Our university was founded as one of the first private universities in the country and for many years helps talented young people live their vision.
At the beginning
The private higher educational institution – International Slavic University “Gavrilo Romanovich Derzhavin” – Sveti Nikole is an accredited higher educational institution that began working in 2004 in Sveti Nikole. Since 2006, our campus in Bitola has started operating.
Many years of development
Our University has strategically developed by increasing the number of faculties and departments. Starting from 2004, so far we have accredited 5 faculties with 20 strands of undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Our University grew over the years as well as the spacious capacity, so today for maintaining the teaching lectures for our students, they have at disposal classrooms over 6500 m2 in Sveti Nikole and Bitola, and additional 2000 m2 are under construction.
Within these areas, we have gradually built modern equipped conference rooms, an amphitheater, classrooms, rooms for practical work, laboratories, workshops, exercise rooms, a fully equipped library with a reading room, restaurant, student canteen, bookshops etc.
We act together
The image that our university has created enabled the signing of several agreements with numerous companies involved in business in North Macedonia, but also abroad, where our students are given the opportunity to improve their work skills and professional involvement in business.
We think globally
We have signed many agreements for teaching, scientific and research work with many universities from different countries. Our strategic partner is the Tambov State University from Russia, who also bears the same name – “Gavrilo Romanovich Derzhavin.”
Over the years, our international relationships deepen through the implementation of large number of projects, student exchanges and conferences.
