International Centre for Slavic Education
The International Centre for Slavic Education (ICSE) is the official publishing house of the International Slavic University.
The publishing activities of ICSE are focused on the creation, publication, and promotion of high-quality academic, scientific, professional, and literary works. Through its publications, ICSE contributes to one of the University’s core missions — the creation and dissemination of knowledge, the advancement of scientific research, and the provision of contemporary literature for students, the academic community, and the wider public.
Our Publications
The International Centre for Slavic Education has published university textbooks, monographs, manuals, scientific publications, and other professional works in a wide range of fields, including:
- economics, finance, and entrepreneurship;
- management and marketing;
- psychology and education;
- law;
- computer science and technical sciences;
- social sciences and humanities;
- culture and the arts.
A significant part of the publishing programme is dedicated to university textbooks and professional literature written by professors and associates of the International Slavic University, as well as by other authors and experts. In this way, students are provided with access to literature directly related to their fields of study and to contemporary academic and professional developments.
Among the publications issued by ICSE are titles such as “Fundamentals of Economics,” “Marketing Management,” “Academic Writing,” “Psychology as a Science and Profession,” “Basic Research Methodology,” “Methodology of Teaching Psychology,” “Supervision and Evaluation,” “Learning and Teaching – Pedagogical and Psychological Aspects,” and other academic and professional publications.
Particular attention is devoted to supporting the scholarly and research work of academic staff, with the aim of making new scientific knowledge and professional experience available in the form of textbooks, monographs, manuals, and other publications.
Scientific Publications
ICSE also plays an important role in the scientific and research activities of the International Slavic University.
The publishing house publishes scientific papers and publications resulting from international scientific conferences organised by the University, featuring contributions by authors from North Macedonia and abroad.
Among these publications is the scientific journal “International Dialogue: East – West,” which over the years has published papers in the fields of economics, psychology, education, law, safety engineering, computer science, culture, philosophy, and other academic disciplines.
In this way, the publishing house serves not only as a support for the teaching process, but also as a platform for the exchange and dissemination of scientific ideas and research findings.
Literary and Cultural Publications
The publishing programme of ICSE is not limited to academic literature.
Over the years, the Centre has also published novels, poetry, short story collections, aphorisms, books on art, and other literary and cultural works by Macedonian and international authors.
ICSE also organises book promotions, meetings with authors, and other cultural events, creating a space where academia, literature, culture, and the arts come together.
Among its literary and cultural publications are works such as “The Oldest Man in the World,” “Krlevizmi,” “The Prince Who Resembled the Little Prince,” the “My Way” series of caricature books, as well as other works by domestic and international authors.
Printing House
The International Centre for Slavic Education also operates its own printing house.
A significant part of the publication preparation process is carried out there — from technical editing and design to print preparation and production of the final publication.
This allows ICSE to manage the publishing process in one place, from the preparation of the manuscript to its final printed form.
Bookstore
A bookstore also operates within the International Slavic University in Sveti Nikole, where students and other readers can find publications issued by the International Centre for Slavic Education.
In addition to ICSE publications, the bookstore offers a selection of professional and general-interest literature from other publishing houses, giving students access to additional materials relevant to their fields of study.
ICSE publications can also be ordered directly through the publishing house.
