Job responsibilities of the Vice-Rector for International Relations


  • Coordinates the process of international cooperation at university level.
  • Prepares an annual plan for international cooperation and forwards it to International Relations Office.
  • Organizes the participation of ISU in international mobility programmes as Erasmus +.
  • Organizes the participation of ISU in international projects.
  • Makes a plan for ISU membership in international organizations and associations.
  • Initiates new partnerships and nurtures the existing partnerships with the institutions.
  • Represents the University abroad.
  • Develops a strategy and organizes the recruitment of students abroad.
  • Promotes the international dimension of the research work of ISU.
  • Implements the decisions and conclusions of the Senate.
  • Monitors and solves the problems that occur during the process of international cooperation.
  • Provides support for the improvement of the international cooperation, and develops strategies for its enhancing.
  • Submits monthly reports to the Rector and Board of Directors.
  • Participates in creating the regulations related to international cooperation and participating in international projects.
  • Takes part in other activities on request of the Rector.
