From September 21st to 26th in Varna, the IV student festival “Друзья, прекрасен наш союз” was held, organized by the Russian foundation “Русский мир”. The festival took place in the complex “Kamchia”, which is owned by the City Administration of Moscow.

International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin is the only university in Macedonia that has taken part in this international festival in Varna, which is attended by over 350 students from 17 other countries in Europe, such as Russia, Italy, Poland, Germany, Georgia, etc. The most prestigious Russian university, Moscow State University “M.V. Lomonosov “.
The official language of the festival is Russian. Within the festival, there were several competitions for reciting, singing, dancing, etc., all performed in Russian.
On September 24, a student parade accompanied by an orchestra took place through the streets of Varna, a call to unite all the students from Europe.
The grand finale of the festival, which was awarded with plaques and gratitude to the participants, took place on 26 September.
