In the premises of the Institute for rehabilitation of children with hearing impaired speech, voice and other problems in the development “Koco Racin” in Bitola, students from the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin realized the project We Walk together “.
Natali Zdraveska, a student at the Faculty of Psychology at the ISU and one of the initiators of this project, said:
– We realize this because we still hear the words of a child with special needs, who speaks for his feelings and left me with no words, and with tears in his eyes said: “Don’t you think that we are people like you ? Don’t you think that there is no need to punish us when nature has done it enough? With every strange look filled with pity and contempt, you open a deep wound in my heart, and it is already completely covered with scars and millions of scratches that hurt tоо much. I hope and look for a good word and a person who will not despise me and where those questions will not be everyday. Once do not keep my eyes on me and please accept me as an ordinary person ! “Said the child, and left the rostrum.
– Because your faces look different to some, but not us, as our love for you is the same, always the same for everything. And your heart now that you think you will escape from your chest will always be a part of our hearts, your joy that shines and enchants this small room is also our joy, and that’s why we are here together, step by step to our goal. For you we are part of this project, me and my colleague Natalie who decided to spend this day with you, added Zdravko Stavrov, also a student of psychology.
All of the protégés of the “Koco Racin” Institute received drawing accessories in the frames of the project and together with the students of psychology they made children’s drawings. While children and students were drawing for them, they sang and entertained the famous star Riste Risteski.
