Call for the second Chess tournament “Derzhavin” in Bitola

The International Slavic University as an organizer invites you to take part in a two-day amateur chess tournament with professional help from members of the Bitola Chess Club. The tournament will be held on December 22 and 23, 2017 in the big conference room of our university in Bitola, starting at 11:00.  Link of the Facebook event.

The tournament is intended for members of chess clubs and amateurs from 15 to 27 years of age.

Judge: Miodrag Jazadzhievski

Game:

• Playing time of 10 minutes with an addition of 5 seconds per move, starting from the first move (10 ‘+ 05 “).
• Swiss system, 9 rounds, according to the rules of FIDE for accelerated chess.

Awards

The best three chess players will receive the following prizes:

1st place: LAPTOP + Golden plaquette
2nd place: TABLET + Silver plaquette
3rd place: Chess SET + Bronze plaquette

Special plaquette are followed for:

• The best woman chess player
• The most perspective young chess player (up to 18 years)

When deciding on a place, he decides

• Buchholz – 1 (without the worst opponent)
• Buchholz
• A lot of wins
• Progress
• Shortened progress

Program:

• the first day I-VI round, with a break between the third and fourth round,
• second day, SIMULTANKA with grand master Vlatko Bogdanovski and playing the last three rounds

Applying

1. The right to participate have members of chess clubs and amateurs aged 15 to 27 years
2. Deadline: December 15, 2017.
3. Registration fee – 200 denars for two days. The registration fee includes snacks and drinks during the two days.  Account: 320-1000028568-45 . The name of the participant that applies for the tournament must be indicated on the payment slip.
