Days of Psychology: A successful start in Bitola – Continuing tomorrow in Sveti Nikole

11 January 2025The International Slavic University successfully concluded the second day of the “Days of Psychology” event, held in Sveti Nikole. The central theme, “Self-Care,” inspired participants from various backgrounds, including professionals, students, and psychology enthusiasts.
The event began with addresses from the hosts: Assoc. Prof. Milena Spasovska, PhD, Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at ISU, and Milica Krstich, founder of the Siguran Prostor / Feel Safe Hub platform. They emphasized the importance of the theme and shared inspiring words about their joint efforts to promote mental health.
A panel discussion followed, focusing on the role of young people in caring for their mental health. Participants had the opportunity to hear practical advice from the speakers:
- Assoc. Prof. Milena Spasovska, PhD from the Faculty of Psychology at ISU, European-certified systemic and family psychotherapist
- Nikola Dukoski, licensed psychologist and Gestalt therapist
- Natasha Bekirova, licensed psychologist and family therapist
The panel was moderated by Marjan Georgievski, who led the discussion with an interactive approach, engaging the audience.
The second part of the program featured a presentation by Milica Krstich on the topic “Ways of Self-Care,” where she shared practical tips and personal experiences for improving mental well-being. This was followed by Katarina Chikosh Subotich’s presentation on “Love and Self-Care,” exploring the connections between self-respect and self-care.
With a rich program filled with discussions and practical advice, the second day of the Days of Psychology in Sveti Nikole successfully concluded, bringing new knowledge and inspiration to all participants. The International Slavic University proudly continues to work on raising awareness about the importance of mental health and self-care.
