On April 3, 2023, a delegation from the International Slavic University visited Maharishi Markandeshwar University in Mullana, India. ISU and MM Mullana have been collaborating since 2022, and during the visit, a new cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities. Established in 1993, Maharishi Markandeshwar University is a private university ranked among the top 100 universities in India.

Michaela Gjorcheva and Ivan Spasev, members of the Management Board of the International Slavic University, had a meeting with the rector, Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, and staff from the International Relations Office at Maharishi Markandeshwar University. The meeting also discussed deepening cooperation between the two universities in various fields, with a particular focus on student exchanges and internship opportunities.

The Medical Faculty, offering multiple undergraduate and postgraduate programs, is the largest faculty at Maharishi Markandeshwar University. The university campus includes a hospital where students can gain employment opportunities, laboratories, a sports complex with seven sports halls, swimming pools, shopping centers, banks, post offices, and several restaurants.
