On October 17th and 18th, at the International Slavic University in Bitola, the second International Scientific and Professional Conference was held in . The conference was part of the European Week for Safety and Health at Work 2014 and with its opening ceremony by the Ambassador of The Russian Federation in the Republic of Macedonia, HE Oleg Shcherbak, began the celebration of the European OSH week in Macedonia.

Oleg ShcherbakAfter the opening of the conference, the Rector of the International Slavic University – PhD Dushan Nikolovski, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Safety Engineering – PhD Aleksandar Grozdanovski, and then the participants’ works were presented. At the conference, except from Macedonia, there were participants from other countries such as Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, etc.
The conference also had a practical part where, through a simulation of the extraction of injured from a car accident and a burned vehicle, the security measures that are applied by firefighters and doctors were shown.
