An exhibition of photographs and posters titled World Fire, dedicated to the First World War, opened at the Art Salon in Veles. The exhibition was prepared by the Association of the Russian Diaspora in Macedonia, and it was realized in organization of the Institute of Culture at the International Slavic University “GR.Derzhavin” and the Association for Macedonian-Russian Friendship Dimitrija Cupovski from Veles.
Dragan Miladinovski, director of the Institute of Culture at the International Slavic University, spoke about the exhibition, and the exhibition declared open Mr. Alexei Krivosheev, an attache for culture at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Macedonia.

He stated that it is our duty to remember the victims of the war, regardless of their national and religious affiliation, and that the lesson to be learned is: never to repeat the mistakes of history that are paid with the lives of entire generations.
The audience was surprised by the famous pianist Gligor Gelebeshev, who had solo concert on the same evening in the Art Salon.
