The President of the Management Board of the International Slavic University, Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, was a member of the Program Committee of the 1st International Scientific and Professional Conference FOKUS FINRA 2025, held on May 30 and 31 at FINRA University in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The conference, titled “Forensics, Cybernetics, and Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Digital Security,” brought together renowned experts and researchers from the region, who presented more than twenty scientific and professional papers in the fields of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and modern technological solutions.
The conference was formally opened by Prof. Ismet Kalic, PhD, Acting Rector of FINRA University, who emphasized the importance of the event for advancing higher education, with a particular focus on the development of academic programs in the field of artificial intelligence. The President of the International Program Committee was Prof. Hadzib Salkic, PhD, a professor at the International Slavic University, who highlighted the unique value of the conference in both regional and international contexts.
As part of the event, the Center for Forensics and Cybernetics was officially opened at FINRA University—the first of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina—aimed at strengthening scientific research and fostering innovative practices in the field of digital security.
