An interview with Prof. Dr. Mariana Asenova, Head of the Department of Finance at the University of agribusiness and rural development in Plovdiv
“We are a group of four professors, from the University of agribusiness and rural development in Plovdiv, who came at the International Slavic University within the program of Erasmus +. We have visited Macedonia for the first time and we have come to Bitola and we are pleasantly surprised by what we saw in the city and on the university premises. Our task is to strengthen our bilateral relations with the neighboring country and at the same time to consider the possibilities for deeper cooperation between two universities. We held a lecture on the topic: Trends in the development of the banking system in Bulgaria in front of the students from the campus in Bitola. We were welcomed in a wonderful atmosphere with an amphitheater full of interested students who followed the lecture attentively and asked interesting question regarding current issues related to the topic.
On our behalf and on behalf of the Rector of the University of agribusiness and rural development in Plovdiv, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, we are very satisfied with this visit and we hope that this is only a first meeting of the longstanding future cooperation.
Thank you for the wonderful reception.”
