Professor Janko Bacev presented his paper “Intelligence and International Security” at the international scientific conference in Skopje (24-25 October 2014) titled “Criminalistic education, states and perspectives – 20 years after Vodinelic”.
The question that Professor Bacev has opened in this paper is one of the more interesting on the international level, not only from the aspect of the content and controversy surrounding him, but also from the aspect of his direct connection with the behavior of the states, which will largely depend on the survival of mankind , because intelligence is vital to planning decisions. The paper points out that the behavior of the states through the undertaking of appropriate activities by national decision-makers as policy-makers and policy-makers is based on the need to obtain external security-intelligence information, since political decisions and actions will not be effective to respond to the actual conditions and to reflect the interests of international security. They also assess and expand existing knowledge about interconnectedness and conditionality of global security intelligence that unite with their own experience and thinking of the author in an attempt to contribute to a better understanding of the international plane of power and the role of intelligence and security intelligence which are collected for state leadership, because this information shows the range of available choice of action and allows them to decide. About sixty authors and co-authors from our country and abroad participated in the conference, who presented their papers and developed a rich discussion.
