Chess tournament of the ISU- 2019

The first day of the Youth Chess Tournament “Derzhavin” is still in progress, it is organized by our university, which is held for the third time in Bitola.

A total of 83 candidates from the country were reported out of which 42 competitors had a rating above 1000.

At the opening ceremony of the tournament beside the organizer, Sashko Pavlovski, president of the chess club “Stevo Patako” – Bitola took the floor, and the tournament was officially opened by Valentin Gruevski, President of the Council of the Municipality of Bitola.

Tomorrow, the tournament will continue from 10 am with the remaining 5 rounds, in order to be given the awards for the best in the adult categories U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and others.
