In New Delhi, India, at the headquarters of the Indian Association for Technical Education, a meeting was held between representatives of the International Slavic University, the leadership of the Indian Association for Technical Education, and the leadership of the Solar Energy Association of India. During the meeting held on March 26, 2023, representatives discussed potential opportunities for collaboration for joint development and partnership. The main goal of the meeting is for the International Slavic University, together with Indian universities, to establish a new modern campus for the Faculty of Technology as part of the Regional Education Center of ISU in Sveti Nikole. The focus of this campus will be on studies and research in the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy sources.
Additionally, representatives discussed various initiatives that could be undertaken in collaboration, including student exchange programs, student internships in both countries, establishing an office of the Indian Association for Technical Education at the campus of the International Slavic University, and forming an info center of ISU at the headquarters of the Indian Association for Technical Education in New Delhi.
The two sides also talked about the possibility of organizing international conferences at the campus of the International Slavic University in cooperation with the Indian Association for Technical Education.
The Indian Association for Technical Education comprises over 2,700 universities in India, with more than 128,000 professors and over half a million students. The Solar Energy Association of India is part of the International Solar Energy Association based in Germany.
