On the 29.03 and the 30.03.2018 in the premises of the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin” – department in Bitola, the Directorate for Protection and Rescue of the Republic of Macedonia held a professional training of the spatial protection and rescue forces in front of the employees of ZK “Pelagonija” AD – Bitola.

The program consisted of:

1. The system for protection and rescue in the Republic and its organization
2. Types of natural disasters and other accidents
3. Organization, preparation and operation of protection and rescue measures
4. Management and command of protection and rescue
5. Personal and material composition of the fire protection units
6. Types of fires that may occur in conditions of natural disasters and other accidents
7. Organization of the merging of forces and assets and introduction to forming equipment and material-technical means of operation:
8. Execution of units in practical work with formation equipment and material and technical means.

This was a great opportunity for students from the Faculty of Security Engineering to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of safety at work and fire safety.

The event was attended by the Director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, MSc Adnan Dzaferoski, who welcomed the attendees and had a meeting with a part of the management team of the ISU, on which similar joint projects were agreed in the future, from which the greatest benefit will earn the students from the Faculty for Safety Engineering.
