On March 6th, in the premises of the ISU, an exhibition of the artworks by Lena Djuric, entitled “Парижанка од Свети Николе”, was opened.
Lena Djuric always and everywhere, wherever she led her life, through all the turbulent times of her existence, made it clear that she was born in Sveti Nikole. Therefore, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, on the eighth of March, she returned to her birth place with this exhibition of 40 of her works, on which she worked in the period from 2009 to the present day. The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of Sveti Nikole, Zoran Tasev.
The pictures of this Macedonian woman, who lived and worked in Paris for more than 30 years, are a real holiday for the eyes and soul of every individual who has the privilege to stand up, look at and penetrate into the essence of painting. Take a look at some of her artworks:
