Mihaela Gjorcheva, a PhD candidate at the University of Ljubljana and a board member of International Slavic University, participated in the first international research symposium within the Alliance of Chinese and European Business Schools (ACE), held at the University of Leeds, England, from September 25 to 28, 2024.
The event brought together young researchers from renowned universities such as the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the University of Antwerp (Belgium), Xiamen University (China), and the host, the University of Leeds (England). Mihaela Gjorcheva presented her research draft on the topic “Consumer Expectations and Responses in Value-Related Social Media Storms in the Fashion Industry.”
The symposium provided an excellent opportunity for the exchange of research ideas and initiatives for future collaborations, particularly in fields related to economic development, marketing, and business. Events like this are vital for creating new opportunities for joint projects and advancing scientific thought on an international level.
