On October 1, 2024, the International Slavic University marked the beginning of the new academic year with two ceremonies held in Sveti Nikole and Bitola.
The founder of the International Slavic University, Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, addressed the first-year students in Sveti Nikole, sharing his vision for the future of education and the important role young generations play in shaping society.
At the ceremony in Sveti Nikole, the Rector of ISU, Prof. Lenche Petreska, PhD, delivered an inspiring speech to the freshmen, congratulating them on the start of the new academic year and highlighting their important role in the future of the university. Simultaneously, Prof. Pavlina Stojanova, PhD, Vice-Rector for Teaching, addressed the freshmen in Bitola.
The deans and vice-deans of the faculties also greeted the attendees, expressing their support for the students on their academic journey.
The first academic lecture in Sveti Nikole was delivered by Prof. Nikola Popovski, PhD, while in Bitola, the honor was given to Prof. Miroslav Pendaroski, PhD. These two lectures officially marked the start of the teaching process, which continued on October 2nd.
