On April 24, 2023 (Monday), the renowned Indian actress Rajshree Deshpande held a lecture in Bitola on the topic “Storytelling through Film.” Before the audience, Rajshree spoke about her acting beginnings and how she started her career in the world of art. During the event, there was a meeting organized with the director of the Bitola Cultural Center, Maja Andonovska Ilijevski, and Menche Hadji-Kosta Milevska from 3D Cinema Bitola.
Vesna Milevska, Phd, moderated the event. The event was organized by the International Slavic University in collaboration with the Bitola Cultural Center, 3D Cinema Bitola, and Ciné-Club.
Rajshree Deshpande is an Indian actress who gained popularity with her role in the film “Angry Indian Goddesses,” and her series “Trial by Fire” was number 1 on Netflix in India. She began her acting career in theater, performing in plays across India, studied law, and worked in marketing before starting her acting career. In addition to her acting work, Deshpande is a strong advocate for women’s rights. She is the founder of a foundation focusing on empowering women through education and entrepreneurship.
