On April 4, 2023, representatives from the International Slavic University visited the headquarters of the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi, India. Mihaela Gjorcheva and Ivan Spasev, members of the Management Board of the International Slavic University, met with Alpa Antani, PhD, Head of the International Department for Europe and Sneha Varma, Deputy Director of the International Department for Europe at the Confederation of Indian Industry.

The focus of the discussions was on the potential for collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of research, practical work for students, visits to Indian companies and the organization of workshops and seminars. As an organization with over 125 years of existence, the Confederation of Indian Industry directly involves over 9,000 multinational, small and medium-sized companies and has an indirect membership of over 300,000 enterprises.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to harness the potential for future partnerships, representing a positive step towards building stronger ties between ISU and the Confederation of Indian Industry. We hope that the future collaboration will help advance the goals of both institutions in India and the Republic of North Macedonia.
