This Weekend group of students from International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “under the name” Derzhavins “participated in two anti-fascist festivals in Bulgaria.
The festivals titled “Серебряные жаворонки” and “Алёша” were held in Sofia and together they had more than 1300 participants from Bulgaria, Russia and Moldova. Our “Derzhavins” were the only group that came from Macedonia.
They sang in Russian and introduced themselves with the song “Майский вальс”, and our student Anastasia Danevska was the lead vocalist.
The performances were evaluated by a professional commission, and the laureates from both festivals will perform at a gala concert in November in Sofia.
The awards for the performance of our “Derzhavins” were delivered by PhD Emilia Lazarova from the Foundation “Устойчиво развитие за България”.
