Students from the ISU presented the “Marti” red and white thread bracelets on the occasion of March 1st

This year the students from the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin” made the “Marti” red and white thread bracelets on the occasion of March 1st. They made the Marti bracelets with love and diligence and these bracelets were given by the representatives of our team to the youngest students of Goce Delcev Elementary School in Sveti Nikole, to the people from Day Center for People with Disabilities – Sveti Nikole, to the students from St. Kliment Orhidski Elementary School in Bitola, to Day Center for People with Cerebral Paralysis “Dzunica”- Prilep and to Iskra High School – Stip.

The symbolism of “Marti” refers to a special cultural symbol which is a present for everyone to whom we wish health, happiness, prosperity… The red color symbolizes the blood and love, while the white one is associated with the purity and sincerity.

By giving Marti bracelets, we present love to the tradition and to all people who have respect in human values.
