The successes of our students are our successes!
The World Championship in paragliding ended, discipline precise landing. The World Cup was held in Albania, Vlora, in which 28 countries and 147 competitors took part, including our student Borjan Jovanoski, who ranked 33rd.
“I was the youngest competitor I won the 33rd place, and I also placed the best of all members of the Macedonian national team, which is a great success considering the results of the top fifty ranked places, where there are stacked places that are repeated (and this is due to close results, reflects great competition). 9 series were made, where I achieved a score of 30 negative points.
Just to mention that paragliding is a sport in which the ranking is independent of the age of the competitors, there is no division of juniors, seniors, cadets, etc.
I competed with pilots who have thirty years of experience. For me, this is the first participation in the World Cup, which has given me more experience and a greater motive for further work. This world championship is the best ever, with the strongest competition, with the highest number of competitors, with the best results achieved in the history of precision landing.
Some say success is participation itself, but I say that it is important to be at the top. As the elderly say – The road to the goal is difficult, but not unknown. ”
This result is also a success at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “because it supports me in achieving the dream, achievement of the world’s top.
The next world championship will be held in Serbia in two years, and till then training and only training, “said Borjan.
