A delegation from the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin” together with the associate of the university, prof. Jose Carrasco, PhD from the King Juan Carlos University in Madrid, had a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Emilio Lorenzo Serra, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in the Republic of Macedonia and Mr. Jordi Llorens Carratalá, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul.
The ambassador was introduced to the study programs of the International Slavic University and its partnerships with other universities. He welcomed the idea of the International Slavic University to conclude an agreement of cooperation with King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. By signing this agreement transfer of knowledge and experience between the students and the teaching staff from both universities will be enabled.
The International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin” officially starts with Erasmus Plus Programme, a student exchange programme with foreign universities from the next academic year, and Spain is among the desired and current academic environments. The implementation of this program will offer opportunities for joint projects and cooperation.
The ambassador Emilio Lorenzo Serra has initiated an open cooperation between the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain and our University in the field of culture and education, and thus will lead to a mutual cooperation in marking cultural events that represent the promotion of cultural values between these two nations.
The International Slavic University will be pleased to participate in the celebration of the cultural project in the field of cinematography within the event of Spanish Film Week, that will be held from 21st November till 27th November, 2018 in Skopje and from 29th November till 5th December in Bitola.
The meeting was in a warm and friendly atmosphere and it was held at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Skopje.
