The National Coordinator for Higher Education Reforms, Prof. Solza Grcheva, PhD held a meeting with representatives from student organizations of both public and private universities in the Republic of North Macedonia. From the International Slavic University (ISU), Sofia Radonchikj, President of the ISU Students’ Association, and Ivana Stancheva, President of the ISU Student Assembly, were in attendance.
The primary goal of this initial meeting was to create an open space for mutual introduction and exchange of ideas, as well as to discuss current topics affecting students. During the discussion, it was emphasized that collaboration with students is essential for achieving better and more sustainable education.
The meeting addressed topics such as student standards, the quality of teaching, and student involvement in scientific research. Prof. Solza Grcheva, PhD highlighted key issues including the unification of criteria for faculty advancement, modernization of study programs, and the digitalization of university services.
