WELFARE – Workability and Flexicurity for Employment is the name of the project in which students from the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin ” participated , and was held in Palermo, Italy, between November 7th and November 15th. The participation of our students was made possible by the Forum of Youth – Bitola. Participants from 15 European countries took part in the training: Norway, Denmark, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Turkey and of course Macedonia. The host was the Italian organization CESIE, and the project is within the Erasmus + program.
Some of the objectives of the training were participants to get to know new creative ways to prepare young people for the labor market, raise awareness about the importance of culture and art in everyday life, and to achieve intercultural ties between the participants for future co-operation. The training included team-building activities, debates, group work, parts of visual art, music and theater.
Some of the participants in the training already announced their stay in Macedonia, so it will be an opportunity to present their knowledge and skills to our students. We expect the first participants already in February 2016. 🙂
