In Manila, Philippines, Professor Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, founder and president of the Management Board of the International Slavic University, was awarded the GUSI Peace Prize. Often referred to as the “Nobel Peace Prize of the East,” the GUSI Peace Prize is one of the most prominent peace awards in Asia.

Professor Jordan Gjorchev, PhD received the GUSI Peace Prize at a solemn ceremony held in Manila, Philippines, recognizing his significant contributions to education, literature and culture.

This prestigious recognition is conferred by the GUSI Peace Prize Foundation, a charitable and non-profit organization based in the Philippines. The GUSI Peace Prize Foundation is known for acknowledging outstanding achievements of individuals in various fields, including human rights, peace, health, education, culture, politics and more. Each year, the GUSI Peace Prize Foundation receives over 1000 nominations for this esteemed award. However, the award is presented to only 18 individuals selected by an international jury from multiple countries across Asia, Europe, Australia and the USA.
