International Slavic University Participates in the Erasmus+ Program at Aksaray University
23 June 2026From 2022 to 2025, International Slavic University successfully implemented a Jean Monnet project supported through the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
The Faculty of Law at International Slavic University led the project activities in cooperation with the Institute of Culture and Art and the Institute for Engineering Economy. Together, they contributed to the successful implementation of the planned activities and the achievement of the project’s objectives.
Throughout its three-year implementation, the project focused on promoting and expanding knowledge of European values, human rights, civil and political rights, and the mechanisms for their protection within the European legal system. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of the European Court of Human Rights, the practical application of European law, and the development of critical thinking among students and the broader academic community.
Numerous activities were organized as part of the project, including information sessions, lectures, roundtable discussions, debates, interactive workshops, and simulations of proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights. These activities enabled the active participation of students, academic staff, and other interested participants, encouraging dialogue and the practical application of acquired knowledge.
The project was implemented under the leadership of Professor Marija Grozdanovska, PhD, and Professor Elizabeta Spiroska, PhD, with support from the European Union’s Erasmus+ program.
