International Slavic University Students Participate in Field-Based Learning at Prilep Correctional Facility: Connecting Theory with the Real-World Justice System
22 December 2025As part of its applied and practice-oriented curriculum, students from the Faculty of Economics and Organization of Entrepreneurship at International Slavic University participated in a study visit to the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia.
The visit was organized for students enrolled in the Monetary Economics course under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Julia Atanasovska and Filip Taskovski, MA.






During the visit, the students gained firsthand insight into the role, structure, and functions of the central bank, as well as the implementation of monetary policy in the country. Particular emphasis was placed on monetary policy instruments and contemporary challenges in economic management.
The program also included a professional lecture delivered by representatives of the National Bank and a visit to the institution’s museum, where the students explored the historical development of the monetary system in the territory of Macedonia.
