The Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “Gavrilo Romanovic Derzhavin” Sveti Nikole – Bitola have organized the Oratory Days for the fifth time. This year we have celebrated a jubilee – 5 years since the first Oratory Day.
This year, in the finale of the Oratory Days, beside the participants from the International Slavic University, there were participants students from the Faculty of Philosophy andIustinianus Primus Faculty of Law, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
The students presented their oratory skills through famous speeches in history.
The manifestation was divided into two sessions and six students participated in both sessions.
In the first session the following students took part:
- Viktor Damchevski, student at the 4th year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, in Bitola campus.
Title of the speech: “We regained the peace” by Branko Crvenkovski
- Dimitra Cilevska, student at the 3rd year of the Faculty of Psychology at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Bitola campus.
Title of the speech: “New Turnings points and Hopes” by John F. Kennedy
- Aleksandar Miloshevic, student at the 1st year of the Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law, Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
Title of the speech: “Moral Values”.
- Julijana Dojchinoska, student at the 2nd year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Bitola campus.
Title of the speech: “Freedom is the most important” by Margaret Thatcher
- Trajche Tasevski, student at the 3rd year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Bitola campus.
Title of the speech: “Free and United Macedonia” by Panko Brashnarov
6. Martina Jordanova, student at 1st year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Sveti Nikole campus.

The second session was comprised by the presentations of the following students:
- Angela Lapeska, student of the 1st year of the Faculty of Psychology at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Bitola campus.
Title of the speech: “About International Women’s Day” by Clara Zetkin
- Stefan Karadzovski, student at the Faculty of Philosophy – Postgraduate Studies within Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
Title of the speech: “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King, Jr.
- Verica Gelevska, student at the 2nd year of the Faculty of Economics at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Bitola campus.
Title of the speech:“I want your attention not your applause” by Mary Fisher
- Jordan Dz’mbov, student at the 1st year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Sveti Nikole campus.
Title of the speech:” Gettysburg Address” by Abraham Lincoln
- Snezana Tolevska, student at the 1st year of the Faculty of Law at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Sveti Nikole campus.
Title of the speech: “Praise for the dog”
- Igor Toshev, student at the 2nd year of the Faculty of Psychology at the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin”, Sveti Nikole campus.
Title of the speech: “Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born” by Charlie Chaplin
The selection of the best orators from this manifestation was performed by the jury consisting of:
- Prof. Aleksandar Ilievski, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Law within ISU
- Asst. Prof. Gergana Djankova, PhD, Faculty of Pedagogy, at the South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, Bulgaria
- Prof. Darko Trifuovic, PhD, Director of the Institute for National and International Security, Republic of Serbia
The jury selected the following students for the best orators this year:
First place, golden certificate of honor, laptop and a set of books – Juliana Dojchoska
Second place, silver certificate of honor, tablet and a set of books – Stefan Karadzovski
Third place, bronze certificate of honor and a set of books – Victor Damchevski
All participants were awarded with certificates for participation at the Oratory Day.
