22 April 2026International Slavic University, through its cinema chain Kinoverzum, recently took part in CinemaCon in Las Vegas – the largest and most influential global event dedicated to the cinema industry. Participation in this prestigious gathering represents another confirmation of the University’s commitment to modern standards, technological development, and staying aligned with global trends in the audiovisual sector.
Each year, CinemaCon brings together leading film studios, cinema operators, and the world’s most renowned companies specializing in cinema equipment production. The event is recognized as a central platform where the latest film premieres, future industry directions, and innovative technological solutions shaping the modern moviegoing experience are exclusively presented.
Representing Kinoverzum at the event were Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Management Board at International Slavic University and founder of Kinoverzum, and Ivan Spasev, a member of the Management Board, who attended as guests of Barco – a global leader in cinema projection technology whose projectors are used in all Kinoverzum cinema locations.
