Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, Phd, founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Slavic University, is one of the distinguished recipients of the GUSI Peace Prize in Manila, Philippines. Often referred to as the “Nobel Peace Prize of the East,” the GUSI Peace Prize is one of the most prominent peace awards in Asia.
Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, Phd, will receive the GUSI Peace Prize at a formal ceremony to be held in Manila, Philippines, where his significant contributions to education, literature, and culture will be celebrated.
This prestigious recognition is bestowed by the GUSI Peace Prize Foundation, a charitable and non-profit organization from the Philippines. The GUSI Peace Prize Foundation is known for recognizing outstanding achievements of individuals in various fields, including human rights, peace, health, education, culture, politics… Every year, the GUSI Peace Prize Foundation receives over 1000 nominations for this esteemed award. However, the prize is awarded to only 18 individuals selected by an international jury from multiple countries in Asia, Europe, Australia, and the USA.
