Today, International Slavic University in Sveti Nikole hosted a presentation of the licensed software solutions package for its Forensics and Cybersecurity Center, awarded to the University by Passion International University in Denver, Colorado, United States.

This will be the second center of its kind to open in the region, following the first, which has already been successfully established at FINRA University in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev and Prof. Dr. Ismet Kalic addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of developing modern laboratory capacities in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and data protection.

Prof. Dr. Hadzib Salkic delivered a detailed presentation on the center’s operations and capabilities. He introduced the integrated suite of software tools designed for practical instruction, scientific research, and professional development in data protection and security, information systems control and auditing, and network infrastructure management.

The center will be available to students and professors for academic modules and research projects. It will also facilitate cooperation with government institutions, including the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Security, security agencies, and other relevant bodies operating in the fields of information security and cybersecurity.

This important step reaffirms the University’s commitment to actively developing professional and research capacities in the digital era through international cooperation and knowledge exchange among academic and institutional partners.
