As part of the Erasmus+ program, representatives of International Slavic University – Mihaela Gjorcheva, Ivan Spasev, and Snezhana Gjorcheva – successfully carried out a mobility visit to St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, in July 2025.

During the visit, important meetings were held with the university’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Ana Ivanova. The discussions focused on deepening the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions and exploring new opportunities for mobility through the Erasmus+ program.

The meetings also included a joint review of the results achieved so far and the identification of new directions for expanding academic cooperation.

Veliko Tarnovo University is a long-term partner of International Slavic University, with whom we have implemented numerous initiatives, including student, teaching, and administrative staff mobility, as well as the organization of joint courses, short-term trainings, and programs. The meeting in Veliko Tarnovo served as an excellent opportunity to further strengthen these activities.

Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to continuing and enhancing their collaboration by developing new educational programs that will enrich the academic experience and increase international visibility for both students and staff.

International cooperation remains one of the strategic priorities of International Slavic University, aiming to continuously open new pathways for quality development and global networking.
