This painting, painted by a world-renowned artist, was sold for a record 179,365,000 dollars at an auction held in New York.
The art masterpiece titled “Les femmes d’Alger” (version O), meaning “Women of Algeria” in French, was painted in 1955, and art connoisseurs certainly know that its author is the legendary Picasso.
A copy of “Les femmes d’Alger” along with another dozen copies of Picasso’s other works is displayed at the Restaurant Moscow, which operates within the International Slavic University – Sveti Nikole. The copies were painted by the prominent Macedonian artist Metodija Burzevski in 2013.
