Huge Interest in Studying at the International Slavic University at an Education Fair in India
3 October 2025On September 29, 2025, the 5th Global Education Summit was officially opened at Chandigarh University in India—an academic platform of high international significance that brought together more than 60 rectors, vice-rectors, and directors from over 50 renowned universities, as well as representatives from 35 countries across all continents.
This year’s summit theme, “Global Collaborations for Shaping the Future of Higher Education – Creating Inclusive and Sustainable Nations Enabled by Artificial Intelligence and Technology,” represents an important step toward rethinking higher education and its role in building inclusive and sustainable societies of the future.
Prof. Dr. Jordan Gjorchev, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, was among the keynote speakers and a distinguished guest of honor at the event. During the official opening ceremony, he delivered a speech to the international academic community and was subsequently awarded a commemorative plaque in recognition of his contribution to international academic cooperation.








Prof. Gjorchev also chaired the second thematic session of the summit titled “Artificial Intelligence for Inclusion and Sustainability,” which featured prominent speakers from Northern Ireland, Canada, Sweden, Thailand, Hungary, South Africa, Ghana, Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the United States. The summit was ceremonially opened in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to India, who welcomed participants in his address.



The participation of International Slavic University in this important international platform further confirms the University’s commitment to building global partnerships, fostering international cooperation, and actively engaging in the processes shaping the future of higher education.
