ISU at the Brass Band Festival in Pehchevo
12 July 2026International Slavic University invites everyone interested to participate in the Summer School “From Me to Us: Self-Awareness, Boundaries, and Emotional Awareness for Building Healthy Relationships,” which will take place from August 21 to 23, 2026, in the beautiful surroundings of Mayberry Lake – Pretor.
The Summer School focuses on one of the most important topics in contemporary society—building a healthy relationship with oneself as the foundation for meaningful personal and professional relationships. In a time of rapid change, growing expectations, and everyday communication challenges, self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and emotional awareness are essential skills for personal development and well-being.
Throughout the three-day program, participants will have the opportunity to attend interactive lectures and experiential workshops and take part in group activities, self-reflection techniques, and practical exercises. These activities will provide them with knowledge and tools they can immediately apply in their personal and professional lives.
Topics
The Summer School will explore several important questions, including:
- Who am I, and how do we develop our identity?
- How are healthy interpersonal relationships created and maintained?
- Where do I end and the other person begin?
- How can we recognize toxic relationships and unhealthy boundaries?
- What is our anger trying to tell us, and how can we use it as a source of insight and change?
- Why is self-care not selfish, but a prerequisite for caring for others?
