
United Nations: Mihaela Gjorcheva and Ivan Spasev at High-Level Event on the UN Charter and Conflict Resolution
17 January 2026In Davos, the International Slavic University took part in an exceptionally influential panel discussion led by some of the greatest minds of our time. The event was organized by the Human Change Foundation, and among the speakers was Professor Yoshua Bengio, one of the most cited scientists of all time and a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence.
The International Slavic University was represented by Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Management Board, who participated in the discussion upon an official invitation from the organizer. The panel focused on the topic: “Aligning AI with Humanity: Using technology to enable human flourishing”.







Among the speakers was also Tristan Harris, a globally recognized expert in digital ethics, which further strengthened the panel’s impact. A central theme of the discussion was the protection of human values in the era of generative artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on the safety of children as a new digital generation.
In February 2026, the International Slavic University will also participate in the prestigious IASEAI’26 conference, which will be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. Professor Yoshua Bengio will once again be among the speakers, and ISU will continue to build its voice in global discussions on the ethical use of artificial intelligence and the role of education in this process.
