International Slavic University Hosts Erasmus+ Training for Professionals from Bulgaria in VR/XR Technologies and Psychosocial Support
26 October 2026Representatives of International Slavic University paid an official visit to Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), one of the largest private universities in Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in 1968, DPU is also one of the oldest private universities in the country.
During the visit, Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Ivan Spasev, Member of the Management Board, met with Atit Koirala, a representative of DPU’s International Relations Office.
The main purpose of the meeting was to initiate cooperation aimed at establishing a short-term student exchange program between North Macedonia and Thailand. The proposed initiative seeks to create opportunities for ISU students to study at the university in Bangkok, while also welcoming students from Thailand to International Slavic University.
Through these exchanges, students would have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, gain international experience, build friendships, and develop intercultural competencies that are becoming increasingly important in contemporary education.
During their visit, the ISU representatives also attended a Career Fair organized by DPU, where they had the opportunity to learn about the university’s practices for connecting students with companies and potential employers, as well as its initiatives supporting students’ professional development.
The experiences and ideas gained during the visit will serve as inspiration for further enhancing the activities of the Career Center at International Slavic University.
We believe that this visit marks the first step toward fruitful and long-term cooperation, opening new opportunities for our students and contributing to stronger academic and cultural ties between North Macedonia and Thailand.
