International Slavic University participated in two major international events in Brussels organized by Economist Enterprise, part of the ecosystem of the globally renowned media and research organization The Economist Group, known for its research, analysis, and high-profile conferences that bring together academia and industry.

At the organizer’s invitation, ISU was represented by Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Management Board, and Ivan Spasev, who attended as delegates at the 11th Annual World Cancer Series Europe and the Economics of Obesity and Metabolic Health Summit.

The two events brought together leading experts in healthcare, scientific research, public policy, and industry to discuss current challenges and innovations related to prevention, treatment, public health, mental well-being, and sustainable healthcare systems.

ISU’s participation in these events is particularly important for the development of its Psychology and Occupational Safety and Health degree programs.
