International Slavic University was the only university from the region included on the official list of participants at the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, held in Washington, D.C..

As part of the event, Mihaela Gjorcheva, Vice President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Ivan Spasev, a member of the Management Board, participated in several meetings, discussions, and events in the official program organized at the headquarters of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The Spring Meetings of the IMF and World Bank represent one of the most significant global forums, traditionally bringing together central bank governors, finance ministers, policymakers, private sector representatives, and distinguished members of the academic community from around the world. These meetings addressed key issues related to the global economy, financial stability, development policies, and current geopolitical challenges.

На официјалната листа на учесници се најдоа и професори и истражувачи од водечки универзитети од САД, Франција, Англија и Швајцарија, што дополнително ја потврди високата релевантност и престижот на овој меѓународен форум.

Учеството на Меѓународен Славјански Универзитет на ваков значаен настан претставува уште една потврда за активната меѓународна позиционираност на Универзитетот и неговата посветеност кон градење партнерства, следење на глобалните трендови и вклучување во најважните современи академски и економски процеси.

Во наредниот период, Меѓународен Славјански Универзитет најави учество и на повеќе значајни форуми и конференции во Соединетите Американски Држави.
