After the 9th round which was played today, awards for the best three chess players were given.

Првото место (златна плакета и лаптоп) го освои Тони Лазов од Неготино (шаховски клуб Алкалоид), второто место (сребрена плакета и таблет) го освои прилепчанката Викторија Велеска, а третото (бронзена плакета и шаховски сет) Хедон Мифтари од Струга (шаховски клуб Алкалоид).

Special plaques were also awarded for:
The best woman chess player
The most perspective young chess player (up to 18 years)

The prize for the first place was awarded by the first secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Macedonia. Macedonia, MSc Alexander Alekseev who addressed the participants and explained the significance of the chess in Russia and Macedonia. After awarding the awards, all the participants played simultaneously with the Grandmaster Vlatko Bogdanovski.
