11 topphilosophers from the universities from Poland, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia attended the opening ceremony of the 5th International Philosophical Dialogue “East – West”, that was held today at the MASA, and started at 11 a.m.
Academician Vlado Kambovski from MASA, Prof. Jordan Gjorcev, PhD, President of the Board of Directors of the International Slavic University, Prof. Ivan Djeparoski, PhD, Head of the Institute of Philosophy at Ss. Cyril and Methodius, University of Skopje and the President of the Philosophical Society of Macedonia, Ljupco Mitkovski gave presentations.
This year’s theme of the gathering is “The Crisis of the Idea for Europe”. Prominent academicians, professors and philosophical researchers from Poland, Greece, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia took part in this event. The dialogue was held in three Macedonian cities: Skopje, Bitola and Ohrid. On 3rd October (Thursday) the dialogue continued in Bitola, on the premises of the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin” and it started at 10 a.m. The gathering finished with the last session on 4th October (Friday) in Ohrid, in the House of Uranina (MASA), where it started at 10 a.m.
