On October 30th, a cooperation agreement was signed between the International Slavic University “G. R. Derzhavin “and the North Caucasus Federal University of Stavropol, Russia, which is one of the nine federal universities in Russia.

We will be pleased to support such relations in the future and will maximally help both in teaching and in scientific research. “- said PhD Irina Bondar, dean of the Faculty of Services, Tourism and Design at the North Caucasus Federal University.
Otherwise, there are only nine federal universities in Russia, and the North Caucasus University is one of them. Today there are many universities in Russia, but the government’s focus is on the federal, which invests a lot of money on their development, primarily in material and technical means. The university consists of 11 institutes, of which ten are in Stavropol, and one is located in Pyatigorsk, and currently they study over 30,000 students, who are not only Russians, but according to the professor, students are from 84 different nationalities.
In accordance with the cooperation agreement, it is planned to organize conferences in the field of economy, history, engineering professions, as well as exchange of students within the Bologna procession. The professor said that Russian students are interested in coming to Macedonia, primarily due to the proximity of languages, which would enable their easier adaptation. Asked whether Macedonian students would benefit if they decided to study at the North Caucasus Federal University, the professor responded that education in Russia is not free, but they could find a way to ease these costs, such as accommodation in a dormitory, etc. .
Professor Irina Bondar stayed in Macedonia for a week, a period for which she managed to visit the most beautiful regions of Macedonia, as well as the most significant landmarks – Ohrid Lake and St. Naum, Galichica, Shirok Sokak, Millennium Cross, Skopje 2014 … She stated: I am the first time in Macedonia, upon the invitation of the Slavic University and I am very happy to be here. The first impression I have gained is the hospitable people. I also like the fact that there are people who speak Russian in Macedonia because they used to study Russian language or are still studying it. “
