First New Year’s Amateur (Youth) tournament in Chess in Bitola

The International Slavic University is organizing a two-day amateur chess tournament (Swiss system) with professional help from members of the Bitola Chess Club. The tournament will be held on 23rd and 24th December 2016 in the grand conference room of our university in Bitola.

The tournament is intended for young people from 15 to 24 years of age.

Awards:
The best three chess players will receive the following prizes:

1st place: LAPTOP + prize surprise by supporters of the tournament.
2nd place: TABLET + award surprise by supporters of the tournament.
3rd place: Chess SET + award a surprise from the supporters of the tournament.

Program:

• Competing section:
  23.12.2016 (Friday) – start at 12.00
  24.12.2016 (Saturday) – start at 12.00
• Theoretical and practical part:
  23.12.2016 (Friday) – start at 18:00
  theoretical part: “Analysis of famous chess parties”;
  practical part: “Technical on opening, defense and attack”
• Simultaneous:
  24.12.2016 (Saturday) – start at 14:00
  (the top 10 competitors of the tournament will play a simultaneous match with the Bitola grand master Vlatko Bogdanovski)

  Application:
  Young people aged 15-24 have right to participate.
  Application deadline: December 20, 2016
  Registration fee – 100 denars for two days. The registration fee includes snacks and drinks during the two days.
  Account for payment: Receiver: ISU , Account: 320-1000028568-45, Bank: ЦКБ. The name of the participant that applies for the tournament must be indicated on the payment slip.
