
Mihaela Gjorcheva Represents International Slavic University at Nest Climate Campus in New York
27 September 2025From October 16 to 17, 2025, Mihaela Gjorcheva and Ivan Spasev, board members of International Slavic University, took part in an international workshop focused on academic cybersecurity practices, hosted by the University of Passau, Germany.
The workshop aimed to foster the exchange of experiences, strategies, and best practices related to information system protection within higher education institutions. The event gathered participants from universities and organizations across Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, and North Macedonia. Alongside International Slavic University, North Macedonia was also represented by the University “Goce Delchev” – Shtip and the International Balkan University.



The ISU representatives actively engaged in discussions addressing the challenges of modern IT security management, presented examples from local practices, and exchanged insights with colleagues from leading European institutions. Special emphasis was placed on developing joint solutions to enhance the safety of digital academic infrastructure.
Participation in such events is part of the ongoing efforts of International Slavic University to improve the quality and security of higher education and to strengthen international cooperation in strategically important areas.
