Cooperation Agreement Signed Between International Slavic University and the Institute and Museum–Shtip
16 March 2026A meeting was held at International Slavic University, during which a Protocol for Academic Cooperation was signed between International Slavic University in North Macedonia and Medical University–Sofia in Bulgaria.
The protocol establishes a framework for developing and strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the two higher education institutions. It provides for the initiation and implementation of various joint activities aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge, experience, and scientific achievements.
The agreed cooperation includes the development of academic staff and student exchange programs. The two institutions also expressed their commitment to jointly developing research projects based on the scientific and professional expertise of their respective departments.
The protocol further provides for participation in joint scientific events, conferences, and symposia to facilitate the exchange of information and strengthen academic communication among colleagues.
The heads of the relevant departments at both universities were appointed as coordinators responsible for the continued implementation and development of the agreed activities.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Jordan Gjorchev, PhD, President of the Management Board of International Slavic University, and Prof. Vanyo Mitev, MD, PhD, Director of the Institute for Innovative Medicine at the Department of Medical Biochemistry of Medical University–Sofia.
Through this initiative, International Slavic University continues to strengthen its international academic network and create new opportunities for cooperation in education and scientific research.
